United Way of the Black Hills 2019 Community Needs Assessment
In 2019, the United Way of the Black Hills (UWBH) asked the Benchmark Data Labs (formerly known as the Black Hills Knowledge Network) to conduct a needs assessment. The purpose of this assessment was twofold: 1) gather meaningful community-level input about community needs across UWBH’s service area, and 2) aggregate trends and patterns of community needs across the Black Hills region. This report assisted UWBH’s Boards of Directors strategic planning efforts as they developed goals (program intent) and strategies (resource allocations) for the organization. The report and eleven community level infographics can be found on the UWBH website.
